Project Deposits
Many construction and renovation projects require an initial deposit before work begins. Deposits secure scheduling, labour allocation, and initial material preparation.
Non-Refundable Deposits
Deposits may be non-refundable once project planning, design work, material ordering, or scheduling has begun. This is because preparation work and administrative costs may already have been incurred.
Client Cancellation
If a client cancels a project before work begins, refund eligibility will depend on the stage of preparation and whether materials or planning services have already been completed.
Cancellation After Work Has Started
If work has already begun, payments made may cover labour, materials, equipment, planning, and project management already completed. Any remaining balance will be assessed according to the work performed.
Material Orders
If materials have been ordered specifically for a project, these costs may not be refundable. In some cases, materials may already be manufactured or reserved for the project.
Project Delays
If delays occur due to weather conditions, supplier delays, site conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control, refunds will generally not apply, but reasonable adjustments to project timelines may be made.
Refund Eligibility
Where refunds are appropriate, they will be processed after deducting any costs already incurred for labour, materials, planning, permits, or administrative work.
Dispute Resolution
If any disagreement arises regarding refunds or payments, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter through discussion before pursuing formal action.
